03 Jul An afternoon playdate with McKinley at Lincoln Park

9 monts old has got to be one of my very favorite ages. During the second six months of life, kids are learning new things and changing every day. Its such a wonderful time to capture these fleeting moments in time.

Little McKinley was just about to turn 10 months old when we met on a sunny afternoon at Lincoln Park. Her family reminded me so much of my own when Ilya was that age. McKinley’s daddy was all about playtime. You can see it in the smile on her face whenever she is near him. Her mommy is all about the love and cuddles, and you can tell that McKinley feels so safe and happy in her mama’s arms.

It was a joy to capture this family at such a special time in McKinley’s life.
