Photoshop Magic

I think Photoshop gets a bad rap. Sure, it can be used for evil purposes such as perpetuating the unrealistic standards the beauty industry uses – but, much like the force, in the right hands, Photoshop creates pure magic.

Take this image I took last Saturday of my daughter in front of the Discovery Park Lighthouse. The light was horrible (midday, harsh light), and there were so many people there that it was impossible to get a shot without them in the background.

But…with a little photoshop magic, I was able to create the mood of the image that I wanted to capture.
